This is a little lesson in spelling about when to use “d” on the end of a word and when to use “ed”. Use “d” when there is already an “e” at the end of the word and “ed” if there is not. If there is a vowel then a consonant at the end of the word double the consonant and add “ed”. If there is a “y” then change the “y” to an “i” and add “ed”.
