Creekside Inn is in Tallahassee on Rainbow Avenue. It has great meals and great cocktails. You can sit by the fireplace and have the best crayfish and the best Bombay Shrimp in a terrific atmosphere. I like to sit near the window on Sundays, watch every snowflake that falls and be happy that I am not on the freeway, the subway or the train. On Mondays there is a sale and barbecue. What a great value they have on beef sandwiches. On Tuesdays, Cathleen and Joey Monroe sing by the fireplace.

We went on a small holiday n June seventeenth with the Longstreet Singers to a Cherokee camp. Deerskin hung on the teepee and seeing it made me feel like a real buccaneer. There were animals of all kinds and it seemed odd to see a chimpanzee and a sheepdog trot past us with a sheep in tow heading up the trail. The nearby creek had ragweed along the banks and it made me sneeze. The kids planted dill weed and rapeseed and asked if we wanted to volunteer to help. The air made us wheeze so we did not agree to help with that chore. We did help unload the peach and peanut sacks and feed the wildebeests. We had a feast at the end of the weekend and had a tearful embrace when we left. Going back to the mainstream would be difficult.

Crude beeswax is a product of a bee hive which is given off by the wax glands beneath segments six and nine of the bee's abdomen. Cosmetics polish and candles can be made from beeswax. Bee pollen is taken from the hind legs of bees when they get them from landing on plants. Shelf life of bee pollen is two years.

Travel to Greenland is a true arctic adventure. Greenland can be reached by air from Denmark or Iceland. Whales can be seen along most of the coastline depending on the season. When hiking in Greenland there is often a deafening silence. Dog sleds are often ridden by those visiting Greenland. You can dress in sealskin or reindeer skin to keep out the cold.

Dungaree was a goddess who lived on a Dungar meaning a small hill. It is also a pair of jeans made from denim. Denim is a rugged twill textile. Most denim is washed then sold so it is soft. Some will use their jeans for six months then wash them so they look distressed.

A legume is a plant. The legume is a dry fruit. Some legumes are peas, beans, lentils, lupins, alphapha, peanuts and carob. Legumes became the staple when meats were not available. Some legumes are used to feed livestock and some are cultivated for their seeds for animals to consume.
